could i present a stolen idea ?

if a project exists and i don't have users but i built the same idea will i be disqualified ?

    We generally do not recommend submitting "stolen ideas". One of the evaluation criteria is Creativity.

    You are allowed to submit existing projects you've built and you will not be disqualified if you do so. If you also want to increase your chances to win a prize, then take a look at the extra prizes like "Best Open Source Project", "Best Crawler Agent" etc. and you could try to make some modifications to the project to accommodate and win one of those in addition to tryin to win the main prizes.
